Last week my fiance and I went to see Wicked in San Francisco. It was so much fun! We had gotten the tickets for a discount through my work months ago, so I had almost forgotten how excited I was to see this musical! Not only was the music wonderful, but the sets and costumes were fantastic. They were playful and unusual - like nothing I had ever seen. We went home and downloaded some of the songs so we could remember some of our favorite parts.
Then on Sunday, Dave and I went to see the San Jose Sharks play the Anaheim Ducks in the second game of the first round of the NHL playoffs. The tickets were a gift from Dave's family friends Andy and Joselle - SUCH a generous and fantastic gift! We got to sit in the 18th row in section 106 - which in the Shark Tank (aka the HP Pavillion) gives you an amazing view of all the action. Unfortunately, the Sharks did not bring their best on Sunday and they are now down two games to Anaheim in the series that is best of 7. The next two games will be in Anaheim - tonight and Thursday night, so wish the Sharks good luck! It looks like they might need it...
