Cool! In 2003 (before I started my job after college) I made holiday cards that sort of looked like this. I hand cut several dozen intricate snowflakes, scanned them, then arranged 12 on the front of the card on a light blue background. Close family and friends got actual cuttings with string to hang them up.
ReplyDeleteMaking them virtually seems almost like cheating! (The key to pretty ones is cutting away more paper than you'd think.)
I haven't been so ambitious as to hand make my usual ~100 cards in recent years, so I stopped doing them altogether sadly.
